By availing of the services of SMITHBYRNE SOLUTIONS you hereby agree to the following:
SmithByrne Solutions repair electronic devices such as mobile phones and computer systems. These devices are capable of holding personal data. You are agreeing to the following: 1. We will make every effort to take care of your personal data but due to the nature of the work it is not always possible to save all user data and the user acknowledges that all data is backed up prior to seeking our assistance. 2. Backing up hard drives and phones will enable the technician to see some of the data being copied; you are hereby giving us permission to access your files for purposes of the work. 3. During the work some data may be lost, this may be unavoidable.. 4. Water damaged devices that do not restore to a working state will be billed at half the agreed price. 5. We take every effort to avoid any electrostatic damage to devices but we can take no responsibility for any that may occur. 6. In the case of accidental damage to data or your system, further damage or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, miss-configured software, or hardware problems/failures SMITHBYRNE SOLUTIONS and it’s agents & servants have no liability in respect of accidental damage however caused. 7. All work must be paid for in full before or at the time of collection from the workshop. 8. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their phone is actually locked & not barred before requesting an unlock code, unlocks cannot be refunded once in progress or completed. 9. Devices left for any longer than 14 days after the customer has been asked to collect them, will incur a storage fee of €10 per week or part thereof. 10. You agree that all your personal information is correct, you also agree that you are happy for work to commence and you are aware that SMITHBYRNE SOLUTIONS and it’s agents & servants have no liability in respect of accidental damage however caused. 11. You are aware that repairs may void your warranty and you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to check if they will or not.
